News & EventsStrongbridge announces today the addition of Cheryl Walker Waldrup to the Strongbridge corporate executive team. Ms. Waldrup joins as the Chief Growth Officer and is responsible for all sales, marketing and capture activities for the company. With more than 25 years of service in government contracting, Ms. Waldrup brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships to Strongbridge and extensive experience in both operations and business development. Since 2000, Waldrup has served in executive roles with increasing responsibility at leading tech companies serving the federal government, including Daon Biometrics, General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), FSA Federal (a joint venture between Engility and AECOM), Deep Water Point Consulting and American Systems Corporation. Her roles have included Chief Growth Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President of Federal Capture and Vice President for Strategic Initiatives. Ms. Waldrup is an elected member of the ACT-IAC Executive Committee and a graduate of the ACT-IAC Partners program, bringing government and industry senior executives together for a year-long professional development. She is also a graduate of the Leadership Foundry, a joint development program designed by Women in Technology and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) to prepare women for corporate board service. Waldrup is active in the Government Business Executives Forum (GBEF) and was the recipient of the 2017 as the Capella University-Wall Street Journal Business Leader Award. Waldrup holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and resides in Leesburg, Virginia.
